Mythic Quest Game Assets

I had an incredible experience working as a producer with the team at Ubisoft Red Storm to create the game assets for the AppleTv+ show Mythic Quest. Seasons 3 & 4 featured a range of assets in styles that go far beyond the fictional MMO the show is centered around. 

My role was to identify the necessary game asset requirements within the script, schedule and budget the resources needed, produce the game assets with the Red Storm team, and ensure they were handed off to Post production for integration into the episode. I also served as an on-set resource to collaborate with the showrunners/writers/directors during production and Post to ensure we had delivered on their vision.

Below are highlights of assets created for Seasons 3 & 4:

Completion of these assets took 4 months, from concept to final delivery

Restaurant Game

Expanding upon the "Playpen" game style created in Season 3, the game team added a VR hands and finessed the physics to enable a comedic flipping and frying of the baby. 


Sarian Gameplay / 8 Bit Arcade Intro

S3, E7 "Sarian"

An early 2000s web browser game and a fun 8-Bit arcade intro  brought a sense of retro gaming nostalgia to the episode and highlighted the importance of games in the lives on the main character's backstory. 


Playpen

Season three brought a new style of game for Mythic Quest, with "Playpen" exploring the popularity of UGC games and how their fun can transcend quality graphics.
